Brewing Biochar | Colombia | Coffee
Together with Biodiversal and Circular Agro, two Colombian regenerative agriculture project management companies, we're equipping small-scale coffee farmers across the country with the tools, training, and technology to remove 100,000 tonnes of CO₂ by 2030.
Coffee prunings are usually left to rot, seen as having little to no economic or functional value. However, their dense, fibrous structure makes them ideal for carbon-rich biochar, helping lock away CO₂ while improving soil health at the same time.
Less waste, new income opportunities for farmers, and a more sustainable future for coffee farming. Now that’s what we call a perfect blend!
